Four minutes later Maria Rodrigues got onto the scoreboard to make the score 2-0. Wallingford then came into the game first with a free kick which missed the goal then on 25 minutes Wallingford got a goal back to make the score 2-1 but it was Chitolie who then stretched the Newbury lead to 3-1. Beesley then added another when her the shot was deflected off a defender for 4-1.

In the closing minutes Wallingford scored, followed two minutes later by Chitolie completing her first half hattrick with a strong shot from outside the area making the score 5-2 at half time.

Wallingford opened the second half really well and Ellie Dyerson was called on to make two early saved. Wallingford pulled back a goal 25 minutes into the half to make the score 5-3 before Ashleigh Colbourne took a free kick which was on target for 6-3. With 10 minutes to go Wallingford were awarded a free kick from which they scored to make the final score 6-4 to Newbury. Newbury had to play the final minutes with 10 when Claire Turley was red carded. Hattrick scorer also had to be substitued due to injury in the closing minutes.
