Match Report -- Season 2019-20
Berks & Bucks Women’s FA Junior Cup Round One
Sunday 20 October 2019
Slough Town Ladies FC 5 Newbury Ladies Development 2
Despite taking a very early two goal lead in this Cup tie, Newbury Ladies FC Development Team suffered a heavy 5-2 defeat at the hands of Slough Town Ladies.

The visitors started brilliantly, when the lively Nicole Beesley set up striker, Rebecca Chitolie on both occasions to open her account and make it two nil in Newbury’s favour. But it was the home side who then stunned the visitors with four quick fire goals in the remainder of the first half to make it 4-2 to Slough at the half time break.

Although Newbury regrouped in the second period, they could not find enough of an answer and Slough went on to score a fifth goal to seal the tie and see Slough Town Ladies’ name in the hat for the next round of the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup.
