Newbury played the GB Women's Deaf Team as a warm up match prior to them going to the European Championships in Bulgaria in June. It was an excellent competative match played in fine spirit at the Mary Hare Scnool in Newbury. Both teams clearly enjoyed this match with Newbury winning by the odd goal in 5 when Kendall, seeing the keeper of her line, shot over the stranded keeper from about 35 yards with 15 minutes to go.
Newbury wish the GB team every success in the tournament. |
