| Newbury started brightly in this opening game of the season and were soon in the lead Caz Harkness who was dominating the midfield. Further goals soon followed through Karen Churchill who went on to be the first player of the match with an outstanding performance of leading the front line. More goals followed with Zoe Davie, Ellie Reed and Lauren Sheldon, who was playing her first game back on pitch after playing in goal for the team the previous season. Chloe hunt playing in goal also had an excellent game |
