| Newbury paid their respect to Floss Oliver before the game and then got off to a flying start against eight men Hook through her sister Ruby who was captain for the day scored in the first minute. Her shot from wide on the left curled over the keeper's head and into the roof of the net. Naomi Purvis scored the goal of the game when her clearance on the half way line turned into a shot and looped over the stranded keepers head. Newbury continued to press and Honor in goal became a spectator and further goals came from Kellie Payne, Victoria Summerfield, Honor Ramos, Elizabeth Swallow & Lucy Mortimer completed the half.
The second half continued in the same vain and strangely it was again Ruby Oliver who again scored in the opening minute dribbling into the box and finishing confidently. More goals came from different goal scorers with Chelsea Allen, Sarah Richman, Katie Saunders & Hailey Thomas also netting from close range. Then Lucy Mortimer & Elizabeth Swallow grabbed their second to complete the rout against a depleted Hook who to their credit never gave in and showed great spirit throughout the game. Newbury returned to the top of the North East Hants premier league with this result.
