| Newbury started this game a little lazily but found that their opponents had improved considerably since the away game before Christmas. They had to knuckle down and it took nearly half an hour to break down the Dorking defence. Zoe Davie was finally rewarded striking the ball low through the packed defence from just outside the 6 yard box. This encouraged the Newbury attackers and both Tiffany Chapman and Lucy Ward scored before half time.
In the second half Sophie Mason added to her goal tally with an excellent shot wide of the advancing keeper. Carly Passfield, in goal, was desparate as usual to get on pitch and swapped with Tiffany to play very creatively on the right wing. Newbury gained a fifth goal when a Dorking defender put the ball into her own net following another excellent corner by Zoe.
