| The back line held strong this Saturday with quality defending by Charlie and Lauren and exceptional saves by Carly who all stood strong against the hard attack. There was good teamwork carried out by midfield with Poppy, Zoe, Grace and Zoe each putting their own determination onto the pitch. Up front there was some good skill and very near misses by Rachel. The team worked hard, but were 2-0 down by the beginning of the second half. Spirits were soon raised however when a well placed goal was scored by Poppy and the team continued with good teamwork and skill.
Despite a good effort by the team, we lost 2-1 in a well-played match on both sides.
