In the second half Newbury came back into the game and with Rachel scoring two more goals to bring the score to 5-3 there was some excitement for both sets of spectators. Carly saved a penalty given against Newbury for a backpass and during one of Newbury's attacks Hatch Warren twice cleared off the line within seconds. The referee being unable to see if the ball had fully crossed the line on both occasions. Hatch Warren though made the game safe with a final goal to win 6-3.
