Newbury took grip of the game from the start but after creating many good chances, poor finishing kept the teams level. The home team continued to create openings and when Honor found herself again free this time she made sure by firing Newbury into the lead. This was quickly followed by goals from Ruby and Nicole, who had both earlier missed easy chances, finishing off good moves to extend the lead to 3-0 at the break.

Better was to come in the second half when Newbury put there chances away, first to score was Amy who added the fourth with a fine strike. Two long range efforts from Chelsea extended the lead and in amongst all that Honor hit a second half hat-trick to add to her earlier goal. The rout was completed when Harriett ended a goalmouth scramble by thumping home from close range to put the scores into double figures.
