The match against Newbury's close rivals Calleva was not the happiest time for the Newbury Players or spectators. Jo's absence meant that Newbury had to play with 5 against the full squad of 9 Calleva players. Newbury again were the better passing team but this failed to result in any goals. Calleva played a long ball game passing through to their new front player who took her chances well.

None of the Newbury players could not be faulted for effort, everyone was getting behind the ball and into goalscoring positions but it is difficult to sustain the effort over 60 minutes against a team with 4 substitutes. Caz and Hannah shared the goalkeeping responsibilities this week.
