Both teams fielded 5 for this game which was played with good spirit by both teams throughout. Jennie-Rae went in goal for the first half and was kept busy by the Calleva attack who scored after about 5 minutes and again immediately before half time. Midway through the first half Lucy was pulled down in the penalty area and Jen was unlucky not to score from the penalty which the keeper pushed over the bar. 5 minutes later Lucy was again pulled down in dangerous position but the subsequent free kick by Nina was well saved.

Amy went in goal in the second half but had virtually nothing to do after the first 10 minutes as Newbury started to dominate the game. Nina and Lucy were unlucky not to score on several occasions.
