Newbury were only able to play with 4 players in this game due to injury and illness. The game started as 4-a-side but it quickly became clear that Rachel's strength against a Calleva side comprised of under 10s would give Newbury a significant advantage. After 3 quick goals in as many minutes, all scored by Rachel, it was agreed that Calleva would play as a full strength 6-a-side team. This certainly made for a more interesting game and ensured that the 4 Newbury players had plenty to do. At half time Newbury were 5-1 up with Rachel having scored all 5. Zoe was unlucky not to score from a cross by Rachel.

Midway through the second half Fi went in goal to give Carly an opportunity on th pitch. She soon scored an excellent goal from a through ball by Rachel. Calleva pulled a goal back but Rachel finished the game with another goal to make her total 6.
