Newbury managed once again to give the spectators an exciting time coming back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3. They have not settled into having to play with 5 which is difficult on the size of these pitches. Rachel was unlucky not to score in the opening minute which probably would have settled the team. As it was Andover scored after 5 minutes to put them in the lead. Midway through the first half Carly came out of her area to break up a dangerous attack and dribbled the ball out of defence before making an excellent long pass to Rachel who again was unlucky to shoot just wide.

5 minutes into the second half Rachel equalised. However this still did not settle Newbury and Andover scored 2 more goals, the first after Rachel had conceeded a penalty for handball. Carly was unlucky with the penalty which just crossed the line after hitting the post. Immediately after Andover's third goal Rachel scored her second and with one minute to go Rachel equalised with her third.
