Newbury fielded an unchanged team from the previous week with Carly again playing in goal. Rachel got the score going in the first half with 2 good goals which gave Newbury an apparently comfortable lead at half time. However Basingstoke were breaking out from defence well with their front players getting behind the Newbury defence on several occasions only to be thwarted by Carly in goal.

Immediately after half time Basingtoke broke to get a goal back which obviously gave them encouragement and they quickly got another 2 goals giving them a 3-2 lead. Newbury did not give in but raised their game. Rachel, Grace and Zoe all had strong runs at the Basingstoke defence and Grace came back more to help Fi and Poopy in defence. Rachel's efforts were rewarded with 3 more goals to give Newbury a well deserved win.
