A disappointing result to welcome Grace back from injury. Hatchwarren had done their homework and kept Rachel under close marking but the game was distinguished by the diminuative Hatch Warren goalkeeper who had an excellent game making several brave saves from Rachel. One shot in particular, midway through the first half, struck her full in the face but this did not affect her confidence. The play was relatively even with both teams having scoring opportunities but Hatchwarren took their chances well and were 2-0 up at half time.

Unfortunately early in the second half Hatchwarren scored again which left Newbury too much to do to.
